What happens if I hit a big drawdown?

Alpine Pass

With Alpine Pass, hitting drawdown does not mean losing your account.

After hitting a big drawdown, you can keep on trading and recover your drawdown or you can reset your account with the drawdown reset option.

You always have the option to reset and continue.

What is a Drawdown Reset?

A Drawdown Reset allows you to restore your account back to its initial state so you can start fresh and keep trading.

Instead of being removed from the program, you can:

  • Reset your balance

  • Restart your progress

  • Continue your trading journey

When can I reset my account?

A reset becomes available once a defined drawdown level is reached.

  • Early stage: reset available at -5% drawdown

  • After your first payout: reset available at -10% drawdown

What happens when I reset?

When you request a reset:

  • Your account balance is restored to the starting balance

  • Your trading progress is reset

  • Your tracking metrics restart

You essentially get a clean start - without losing access to your account.

Why is this important?

In traditional challenges:

  • Drawdown → account lost → start over → pay again

With Alpine Pass:

  • Drawdown → reset → continue trading

You stay in the system and keep your opportunity.

Is this a one-time option?

No.

The reset option is available whenever you reach the defined drawdown level.

This ensures you always have a way to recover and continue.

The bottom line

  • You do not lose your account due to drawdown

  • You always have a way to reset and continue

  • You stay in the program and keep progressing

Alpine Pass is designed to keep you trading - not to eliminate you.
