Trading Days vs. Active Days
Updated over 3 months ago

What are trading days and active days?

Trading Days

Trading days refer to the days on which trading activity occurs within a specified market or platform. It is typically measured based on the UTC date from the trading platform’s perspective and counts each day where at least one trade is executed.

Active Days

Active days represent the number of distinct 24-hour periods after the first trade, based on the trader’s timezone. Unlike trading days, which count individual days based on UTC time, active days increment by one after each 24-hour period from the first trade’s timestamp, regardless of the number of trades made within that timeframe.

My active days are lower than my trading days

On some rare occasions, the active days may be lower than the trading days. This can happen because the active days are based on the trader’s timezone, and the trading days are based on the trading platform’s timezone (UTC).
